National Gallery of Australia

National Gallery of Australia was opened way back in the year 1974. On October 1982, Queen Elizabeth formally opened Australia’s National Gallery on October 1982. National Gallery of Australia has in all 11 main galleries. In the year 1968, the National Gallery of Australia began purchase of different works of art form various sources. This purchase of art forms is still rated as the highest collections of art form ever purchased from the third parties.

The main advantage of Canberra National Gallery of Australia lies in the safe preservation of white art since the year 1788, South Asian Art and the art of the Aborigine along with African, Ocenian, pre-Columbian art, European Art, which were before 1850, and the modern art since the year 1950. The exhibition of products range from oil paintings, water colors, sculpture, votive objects, decorative art, printed works etc which resemblances the glowing tributes to the creators of the art from by National Gallery of Australia.

There are also works of art by the artists of various European countries. There are also exhibitions of art by foreign artists like Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Vermeer, Monet, Manet etc.
